    Great picture. The wasp is perfect. I hope it is not a 'vespa velutin', that killer wasp that is ending our hives and, by tato, with the pollinating function of our friends the bees.

  9. Even our bird feeders are quiet this morning. No bees in sight. The bees love our backyard clover, though.

  11. We get lots of Yellowjacket wasps in July and August. They never seem to bother me when they are in the garden, but if I get near a nest watch out! - Margy
