My country is in flames.
Many forest fire at many places because of very warm weather a long time and no rain. Wildfires are burning in dozens of locations across Sweden, with
hundreds of people evacuated from their homes as a result and thousands
involved in the firefighting effort.
Firefighter from Italy, France, Polen is coming to help. We don't live so close to the fire and I real hope it stays so. Well...
Here my photo for this week photo memes.

ReplyDeleteYes i am sorry about that, i've seen it on the news. While you are having fires, we are having lots of places still under flood because of too much rains for the last 3 weeks. God bless us.
ReplyDeleteSo sorry to hear this! We have this trial in our world too, and it is always frightening and worrisome. So much destruction! Hope you fare well through it all, and healing can begin soon. Love your use of B&W to depict what is usually shown in it's brilliance of color.
ReplyDeleteForest fires are terrible! Have a nice week
ReplyDeleteOh Birgitta... I am so sorry about the wild fires. So many areas in the US are also battling them with some loss of life. I hope they will be brought under control and continue to stay far away from you....Michelle
ReplyDeleteIt is a terrible pain to see such devastation and to see the suffering of the people.
ReplyDeleteLast year we also had very violent fires in Portugal in which huge numbers of people died.
I sincerely wish that firefighters can quickly extinguish all these terrible fires.
Stay weel and safe.

Boa tarde, meu Portugal passou pelo mesmo o ano passado, os incêndios causaram mais de 100 mortos, lamento o que passa na Grécia e noutros países, lamento também que os interesses económicos não olhem a meios para atingir os fins.

It's already so hot and then you get wildfires, such a horrific thing. I hear the ones in Greece are now being considered arson.I had no idea they were burning in Sweden as well, I'm glad you're safe and hope it stays far away from you.
