Mountains

Me and my husband was on a trip to Stora Sjöfallet. Stora Sjöfallet is a national park in Norrbotten County in northern Sweden. The national park is 1278 km² and thereby the third largest in Sweden. It is located about 20 kilometers above the Artic Circle
The national park is part of the Laponian area which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Stora sjöfallet is also a part of Natura 2000 which is a network for protected areas in the Europian Union.
Here are two pictures from the trip.

  6. What a beautiful place. I can understand why Unesco would want to protect such a landscape.
